The purpose of marriage (committed relationships).

Marriage functions as a context for purification. Committed relationships provide a crucible for transformation. Two individuals, conditioned with myriad forms of lack, incompleteness, woundedness and fear, descend into the crucible. Fueled by commitment and intimacy (in to me see) our partner becomes our guide to these unfinished parts. Through awareness, ownership, and compassion, we can choose growth and evolve or, we can deny, blame, and continue to suffer!
